Is it true that it is up to the insurance carrier whether or not if the tickets will be held against you with regards with insurance points? I live in Denver, Colorado.

If you pay the traffic ticket you are pleading guilty and therefore it becomes a conviction and the traffic violation is then listed on your driving history.
